A Team Approach

Cinevest has been created and is headed by President and CEO, Andrew Gellis. He is the pre-eminent Executive/ Executive Producer, writer and pioneer of dramatic filmmaking in the 15/70mm format. For the past six years he has directed the IMAX Corporation film division, overseeing all its filmmaking and film distribution activities. Production executive and/or Executive Producer of fourteen 15/70 films, none of his pictures have been over-budget. Prior to his work at IMAX, he led SONY Pictures Entertainment's foray into the world of IMAX/Large Format filmmaking. He comes from the world of feature films, beginning his career in entertainment as a talent and literary agent. He has been a studio executive, a studio-based producer, a writer, and more than any individual in Hollywood, brings to Cinevest the unique ability to meld the 35mm feature film world with the IMAX/Large Format industry.

The Company will be staffed by a group of individuals skilled in film development, production, and distribution who embrace the Company's mission, understand the peculiarities of both 15/70mm and 35mm formats, and can adhere to the Company's financial parameters. It will have a five person advisory board. The team will hire top talent to write, produce, direct, and star in its films.

Once fully funded, the Company will add additional Executives to the Company to oversee Business Affairs, Film Development, and once it commences its first film, an Executive in Charge of Production. As the Company grows, it anticipates creating additional staff positions to handle Distribution and Marketing, and Ancillary sales. All personnel will have or will develop the expertise to combine the world of IMAX/Large Format with 35mm. The Company's SG&A will be advanced from film budgets, and recouped from gross revenues. The Company will approach to staffing and overhead with the same philosophy it will be using in making films -- stay within tight budgets, allowing its capital to work where it will have the most impact - on the screen.
